Pharmacist nx

• Maintain integrity of pharmacy and specific departments, monitoring compliance with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations

• • Analyze patient chart notes and perform drug utilization reviews

  • • Evaluates prescriptions for clarity, route of administration, purpose of use, dosage, schedule, and compatibility with other medications

    • • Consult directly with physicians on orders requiring clarification and discussion

      • • Monitor technician activity regarding prescription entering, filling, and phone communication

        • • Dispense medications following regulatory standards and guidelines

          • • Counsel all patients regarding medications received

            • • Provide 24 hour on call coverage as required

• Must have strong organizational and communication skills, verbal and written

Education and Experience:

• • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree, or Doctorate in Pharmacy Degree from accredited college or school of pharmacy

  • • Must be a licensed pharmacist

    • • 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist

      Physical Demands:

      The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
