The work requires a seasoned understanding and application of the theories, principles, and practices of engineering usually gained through degree granting schools, or equivalent experience, supplemented by substantial work experience. Contacts with others require skills in understanding and influencing people, which are important in coordinating studies and projects with outside parties, resolving complaints and enforcing regulations.
