Project Accounting Specialist

LOCATION
Richardson, Texas | Hybrid

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
* Pay: $30.00 per hour
* Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
* Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (W-2)

ROLE IMPACT
Join a growing real estate development organization where you'll play a key role in supporting residential acquisition, development, and asset management projects. This position partners closely with Project and Investment Managers to maintain accurate project records, coordinate financial documentation, and help keep projects on schedule from acquisition through closing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support real estate acquisition, development, and property operations by maintaining project documentation and administrative records.
* Research, collect, and organize property-related documents, including title records, deeds, tax information, environmental reports, permits, and HOA documentation.
* Process purchase orders, funding requests, check requests, lot information, and project documentation while ensuring data accuracy.
* Coordinate with internal analysts and vendors to ensure invoices are coded correctly, budgets are maintained, and payments are processed efficiently.
* Assist with contract administration, property tax management, lot closings, HOA coordination, and other asset management activities.
* Maintain organized project files and ensure required documentation is complete throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide professional customer service and collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
* Work overtime as needed to support business operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* High school diploma or GED required.
* 6 months to 2 years of experience supporting real estate, property management, land development, construction, or related business operations.
* Basic accounting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new business software applications.

PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience supporting real estate development, land acquisition, construction, or asset management teams.
* Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
