Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

This position will serve as a Project Coordinator (PC) for the Congress Management group within Global Medical Affairs (GMA). The PC is responsible for assisting and supporting the Scientific Meetings staff in the planning and execution of GMA exhibit booths and Congress activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Assists Congress Management staff with the planning and execution of GMA exhibit at medical congresses, responsible for:

  • Uploading materials into online review system
  • Coordinating review and approval of congress materials through appropriate internal (mPRC,) committees.
  • Annotating and uploading references
  • Online research
  • Compiling information into PowerPoint slides and email templates
  • Basic data analysis and booth metric reporting
  • Develop timelines, RACI and Gantt charts
  • Coordinating compilation of congress engagement activities

Unique Knowledge & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in project management.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, with little to no instruction on routine work and only general guidance on new assignments.

• Excellent organizational skills, including ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.

• Ability to set priorities in multi-project environment.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, PubMed required; and a working knowledge of basic IT concepts.
