Weekly 40.00 hours [Mon To Fri]

Qualifications:

Revenue Accountant No degree but must have work experience.

The incumbent of the role will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Calculate and track royalty payments and book the corresponding accruals

• Review sales agreements to determine proper revenue recognition treatment including revenue amount, timing, gross margin, and variance to plan.

• Analyze, prepare and enter revenue adjustments in SAP.

• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and month-end journal entries; maintain sub-ledger details as necessary.

• Monitor Inventory In-Transit and shipping terms to ensure proper invoicing.

• Prepare audit documentation and monitor SOX controls on a monthly basis. Desired skills and credentials:

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of SAP with emphasis on sales and distribution transactions

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools to find information using data mining activities through large volumes of data and complex transactions

• Other Excel technical skills – Pivot tables, VLookup, etc

Functional Skills

• Familiar with revenue recognition principles and proven ability to apply technical concepts to commercial opportunities as described in sales contracts

• Functional understanding of how to build and substantiate accruals, specifically customer rebates

• Income statement analysis with specific focus on variance to budget at gross margin level Personal Skills

• Ability to work well as both a personal and team contributor

• Excellent professional demeanor and ability to collaborate with other departments

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and precision

Qualifications:

• BA in accounting or finance or a related field required

• 1-3 years' experience in related area
