Revenue Accounting Manager 

A Boston-based consulting firm is seeking a highly motivated Revenue Accounting Manager to join their growing finance team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional with a blend of Big 4 public accounting and private industry experience who enjoys tackling complex accounting matters in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, strong US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to take ownership of critical close and reporting processes while partnering across the organization.

Compensation: $130,000-150,000 

Responsibilities

  • Own key aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Apply technical accounting expertise across ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 leases, stock-based compensation, consolidations, purchase accounting, and other complex US GAAP areas.
  • Research and document accounting positions while supporting IFRS and international reporting requirements.
  • Perform financial analysis, explain key balance sheet and P&L fluctuations, and partner closely with FP&A and business leaders.
  • Support a multi-entity, multi-currency global environment and collaborate with Tax, Legal, HR, and external auditors.
  • Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and leverage technology to build a scalable finance organization.

Qualifications

  • CPA required
  • 5-7+ years of accounting experience
  • Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred
  • A combination of public accounting and private industry experience
  • Strong technical accounting background with expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP
  • Working knowledge of IFRS
  • ERP experience; NetSuite preferred
  • Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite)
