Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager/Director to join our dynamic team in promoting and selling semiconductor foundry services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the semiconductor foundry industry. A specific knowledge of specialty foundry processes (BCD, Analog/Mixed Signal CMOS, RF, etc) are a plus. Must have a proven track record of managing top tier/key accounts while driving new business development in the US territory with existing & new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, communicate, and drive overall strategy for assigned accounts
Meet or exceed Sales Revenue, Design Win Revenue and Tape Out Revenue Targets
Process Quotes, aid in forecasting, and product disposition in a timely manner
Engage in Forecast and Forecast Response process to manage factory loadings and territory revenue
Work closely with Technical Sales and Technology Development teams to resolve customer pain points and identify and secure engagement opportunities throughout the customer roadmaps.
Develop clear and logical business proposals in response to RFQs and drive necessary internal alignment and approvals from key stakeholders
Participate in operations, engineering, and business review meetings
Negotiate formal business agreements at the Executive level
Develop a high level of customer intimacy with client's sourcing and business unit leaders
Work with a cross-organizational team to establish KPIs to measure customer management performance, health and to report to senior management
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related field
5+ years of sales or business development experience with deep knowledge in the semiconductor foundry industry.
Good understanding of semiconductor process technologies.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. ~10%
San Jose/Silicon Valley area-based role
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science is a plus
Existing network in fabless semiconductor companies and IDM organizations.
Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes: logic, analog, RF, MEMS, or power semiconductors.
Bilingual (e.g., English and Mandarin/Korean) a plus.
