Position Summary:

Our Diagnostic Imaging Schedulers are responsible for optimal workflow in scheduling and coordination of Diagnostic Imaging procedures according to department protocols. The DI Schedulers are responsible for procedural screenings, collecting, documenting and obtaining complete and accurate patient medical history necessary to ensure appropriateness and safety for all procedures. Schedules and coordinates invasive and complex patient procedures according to department protocols. Provides patient with information regarding pre-procedural preparation instructions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma . Associate degree preferred.
• Two (2) years medical office experience, medical terminology
• Two years scheduling diagnostic imaging procedures preferred
