Job Title: School Nurse - Health Assessment Specialist

Location: Various Charter Schools in Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC

Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Compensation:

• RNs: $42/hr
• LPNs: $37/hr

Overview:

Mercury Group Staffing is seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team as School Nurse Health Assessment Specialists. As part of our commitment to supporting the well-being of students in charter schools, this role involves conducting comprehensive health assessments to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments including height, weight, vision, hearing and scoliosis, assessments for students in accordance with school and state health standards.
• Perform screenings and provide health-related guidance to students, teachers, and staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students and report findings to appropriate school authorities.

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN licensure in MD, VA or Washington DC.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of health assessment protocols and standards.
