Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be available to work as needed on short notice.
- Knowledge of general office management, procedures and business machine operation.
- Outstanding customer service, multi-tasking, time management, organization, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and interact professionally with others.
- Proficiency in data entry, filing, and document processing; familiarity with MS Office Suite of Applications and/or school or department automated systems.
- Work well independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, use good judgment, follow through on assigned tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
Essential Functions:
- Perform secretarial duties such as answering the phone, directing calls or taking messages and responding to email inquiries.
- Greet and assist public, staff and students.
- Maintain an organized office and protect sensitive and confidential information.
- Prepare and distribute written or typed correspondence.
- Access, retrieve and file documents according to established systems.
- Sort and distribute mail; prepare and distribute mass communications.
- Prepare outgoing mail and accept deliveries.
- Perform data entry assignments.
