Senior Account Executive (DGMN)

The Senior Account Executive, DG Media Network, is responsible for stewarding media partnerships with Fortune 500 Consumer Packaged Goods clients by delivering insight-driven media opportunities that connect DG shoppers with brands across the path to purchase. This role brings forward solutions, leveraging DGMN's portfolio of digital and in-store media offerings to achieve client marketing and sales objectives. This is an experienced, consultative media sales role focused on long-term client growth and revenue generation.

Job Responsibility

• Identify and foster new omni-channel and national marketing stakeholder relationships as a sales lead. (20%)
• Own a vertical of business and drive the end-to-end selling cycle across a portfolio of CPG clients, partnering with shopper marketing, ecommerce, agency, and digital media stakeholders. (40%)
• Identify and deliver media opportunities using sales, media, and shopper insights aligned to client KPIs. (10%)
• Forecast and manage pipeline activity and set accurate expectations within Salesforce. (10%)
• Collaborate internally with a network of support functions including Product, Operations, Media Buyers, Media Planners, Insights, and Data Science to deliver the best of DGMN to our clients (20%)

Working Conditions

• This role is Remote. Travel is required for this role to advance client relationship

Job Qualifications

• Experience "hunting" for new business and selling consultatively, with proven ability to deliver sales results
• Experience managing a diverse sales book of business, inclusive of medium and large enterprise level accounts
• Experience engaging with CPG clients across marketing verticals, including Ecomm, Trade, Shopper Marketing and Digital Media
• Comfort interpreting closed-loop media measurement tying marketing to sales using retail data
• Self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously to deliver against revenue goals & client objectives
• Proven client leadership skills; ability to develop relationships and influence client plans
• Analytical acumen using different data sources to make decisions; understand and optimize media campaigns
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to internally partner on behalf of the client

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent work experience required. Four or more years of experience in digital media or advertising, ideally within agency, retail media, or shopper marketing environments. This role is remote and requires travel to support and grow client relationships.
