MGO is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Senior Account Manager to join our growing Business Management practice. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong accounting and business management background who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, executives, entrepreneurs, and closely held businesses.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will oversee day-to-day financial operations for a portfolio of clients, manage complex accounting matters, and build strong relationships with clients and their professional advisors. You will combine technical accounting expertise with strategic problem-solving to help clients make informed financial decisions and achieve their long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for client engagements.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and cash management.
Prepare journal entries, financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
Identify and resolve accounting issues, anomalies, and non-routine transactions.
Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, banking contacts, and external advisors.
Support tax preparation processes and provide necessary financial documentation.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of financial activities.
Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted resource for assigned clients.
Qualifications
3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or business management experience within a Business Management or CPA firm environment.
Experience with Datafaction/AgilLink required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
Experience with payroll, business licensing, state filings, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills.
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
