The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and improving accounting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closePrepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsMaintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledgerAnalyze financial statements and explain variances vs. budget/forecastSupport preparation of financial reports for managementEnsure compliance with GAAP (or IFRS if applicable)Assist with internal and external audits, including documentation and schedulesReview work of staff accountants and provide guidance/mentorshipImprove and document accounting processes and controlsPartner with FP&A and operational teams on financial insightsManage fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and intercompany transactions (if applicable)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)3–5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or corporate)Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting#J-18808-Ljbffr
