Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role will take ownership of month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger integrity while serving as a key resource for process improvement and mentorship of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Support external audit requests and coordinate with auditors on fieldwork
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and close efficiency
• Mentor and review the work of staff accountants
• Partner with FP&A and other departments on ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred or in progress
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on GAAP application
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
