Accountant to join their Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to join an organization with a strong company culture. The ideal Accountant will be technically strong, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $60k - $75k
Position Overview: The Accountant will join the Accounting Department and report directly to the CFO. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment providing extensive exposure to the entertainment industry. The Accountant will support general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and preparation of monthly financial packets and supporting schedules.
Responsibilities of the Accountant:- Perform general ledger accounting activities.
- Support month-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income/expense statements.
- Audit and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare standard monthly financial packets and supporting schedules for designated associations.
- Support multi-company financial statement preparation and governmental accounting and compliance activities.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accountant:- 2-4+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong general ledger and month-end close experience.
- Experience preparing financial statements.
- QuickBooks Online experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accountant:- Experience with multi-company financial statements.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting and compliance.
- Entertainment industry experience preferred but not required.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
