    Premier Research is looking for a Senior Associate, Proposal Pricing (West Coast) to join our Proposal & Contracts team.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    • Manages all aspects of the trial budget process including trial cost analysis, final study budget development (Out of Pocket and FTE costs), maintenance of financial systems, and trial budget management through the life-cycle, including change order budgets when required

    • Effectively interfaces with Project Planning, Contract Development, Global and Regional Project Managers to achieve a successful study management team model, while proactively building internal and external relationships that support gathering of business intelligence for financial & operational activities

    • Effectively manages the pricing development lifecycle from customer need identification through proposal preparation, submission and stakeholder feedback; analyzes customer service needs from study specification sheets, protocols, CRFs and other RFP information, identifying discrepancies and working with Business Development to obtain data or make reasoned assumptions

    • In collaboration with the Proposal Strategist, disseminates initial RFP information to stakeholders, sets up and directs costing meetings to ensure complete review of RFP, discussion of resourcing needs, and understanding of customer objectives; assigns responsibilities, sets budget development schedules, and coordinates input to meet proposal production timelines, identifying, assessing, resolving and/or escalating issues as needed

    • Prepares resource/service fees and service descriptions/budget assumptions using algorithms, spreadsheets, and proposal templates; conducts lessons learned analysis and provides technical guidance/training to operational employees for process improvement and consistency in cost estimates; when requested, interacts with or presents

    What We Are Searching For:

    • Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent preferably in the Sciences or Business Administration/Marketing, from an accredited institution

    • Three years of relevant industry experience; demonstrates an understanding of CRO services, including knowledge of the processes and procedures for conducting a clinical trial, to ensure production of an appropriate budget for inclusion in the proposal; general knowledge of clinical trial management services

    • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word; knowledge of bid grid mapping in Excel, knowledge of web based communication tools for conferences

    • Excellent team player, collaborative and able to work in an effective team environment; customer service focused in approach to work both internally and externally; maintains a positive, results orientated work environment

    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; excellent organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize work to meet deadlines; accountable, dependable and strong commitment

    • Excellent writing capabilities and communication skills

    • Pacific Time Zone preferred

    Premier Research is dedicated to providing compensation that is fair and competitive with market standards. The annualized minimum base pay for this role is $80,000.00 USD. The actual salary will be influenced based on a variety of factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
