Whether supporting complex transactions, adopting new standards, or enhancing reporting processes, Forvis Mazars brings deep expertise and a proactive mindset, offering both compliance support and strategic insights for long‑term success.What You Will DoManage multiple projects with overlapping deadlinesReview and maintain clients' general ledgersProcess or review accounts payable, including involvement with Bill.comReview and approve journal entriesReconcile or review bank and credit card accountsPrepare or review depreciation schedulesAssist with monthly and year‑end trial balance closingsSupport the preparation and review of monthly management reports and financial statementsReview work of specialists and consultantsDeliver virtual and on‑site outsourced accounting servicesParticipate in software application implementation projectsFacilitate training and development for associates and colleaguesProvide coaching and technical guidance to associatesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field2+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or organizational accounting operations, including accounting system workflows, financial statement preparation, and supervision of accounting, payroll, and sales tax functionsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications3‑4 years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or organizational accounting operations, including accounting system workflows, financial statement preparation, and supervision of accounting, payroll, and sales tax functionsQuickBooks ProAdvisor designationPrior experience with CaseWare, Fixed Assets CS, and Bill.comExperience working with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Intacct, or similar general ledger software packageLegal NoticeForvis Mazars, LLP is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer in accordance with applicable law.
