This senior executive assistant 1 role serves as a trusted partner to Church senior leaders, providing proactive, confidential, and professional support in a dynamic environment. This role requires exceptional judgment, strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a commitment to helping Church senior leaders fulfill their responsibilities effectively.

The successful candidate independently manages complex priorities, anticipates needs, exercises discretion, and contributes to the mission of the Church through dedicated service.

Work Location Requirement: This is a fully in-office position. To best support the needs of General Authorities, regular on-site presence is required and remote work is not available.

Required:

  • Bachelor''s degree and 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 7 years.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project coordination abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively with others.
  • Ability to be flexible, service-oriented, and responsive in a changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Church doctrine, policies, and procedures.

  • To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time, moving about the office to deliver mail and other items, and using computer monitors/equipment
  • Provide executive-level support, including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting planning, and correspondence.
  • Anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and help leaders remain prepared for meetings, assignments, and events.
  • Coordinate projects, processes, and follow-up activities, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met.
  • Prepare, edit, and manage documents, reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Research, compile, analyze, and summarize information from multiple sources to support decisions, projects, and leader needs.
  • Screen communications, inquiries, and requests, responding appropriately and exercising sound judgment when determining priorities and follow-up actions.
  • Build positive working relationships and serve as a liaison with Church leaders, employees, and external contacts.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and provide responsive, high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Seek to support the work through thoughtful service, professionalism, and spiritual maturity.
