Senior Financial Accountant

We're looking for a Senior Accountant who enjoys owning the numbers and making sure everything ties out the way it should. This role will support affiliated companies operating in a shared services structure, helping manage the month-end close, maintain accurate financial records, assist with bonus and commission payouts, and keep the accounting engine running smoothly.You'll work closely with the CEO and Controller while functioning as a hands-on individual contributor responsible for day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being trusted with responsibility, working directly with leadership, and helping improve accounting systems and processes. As the companies continue to grow, this person will also play a key role in helping migrate and implement a new accounting platform.What You'llDoOwn the month-end close process across two affiliated companiesMaintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and ensure accounts reconcile properlyPrepare financial reports and support leadership with financial insightsHandle sales and producer commission reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparencyAssist with the implementation and migration of new accounting software, helping test and validate financial dataMaintain strong internal accounting processes and documentationWork closely with leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and operational questionsWhat We're LookingForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProven corporate accounting experience, ideally with strong general ledger and close responsibilitiesExperience managing month-end close and financial reportingComfortable reconciling sales commissions or incentive compensationExperience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or simillsSomeone who enjoys being hands-on and accountable for the numbersWhy This Role Is InterestingDirect visibility with leadershipOpportunity to help shape accounting systems and processesVariety of work across two organizetionsStable role with room to grow as the companies#J-18808-Ljbffr
