Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Richardson, TX | Onsite
Pay Range: $65$69 per hour

This individual will partner with finance leadership and department managers to evaluate financial results, explain performance drivers, and provide recommendations that support business decisions.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of progressive financial analysis experience, advanced Excel proficiency, and demonstrated experience managing budgeting and forecasting processes.

Position Summary:

This individual will partner with finance leadership and department managers to evaluate financial results, explain performance drivers, and provide recommendations that support business decisions.

This position requires working onsite in Richardson, TX.
Responsibilities:
Lead annual budgeting and recurring forecast cycles, including planning assumptions, timelines, financial models, and management reporting.
Analyze operating expenses, headcount, vendor spending, and cost-center activity to identify trends, variances, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
Build and maintain Excel models, dashboards, and reports to support financial planning, scenario analysis, and business decisions.
Partner with department managers to review budgets, evaluate spending, and assess the financial impact of business initiatives.
Explain differences between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, and recommend appropriate actions.
Improve reporting processes, automate recurring tasks, and strengthen data accuracy and forecasting practices.
Maintain planning documentation, approval processes, and compliance with internal financial policies and budget controls.
Collaborate with Accounting during month-end and quarter-end close to validate results and support accurate reporting.
Present financial findings, performance drivers, risks, and recommendations to finance leadership and other stakeholders.
Coordinate planning deliverables across departments and maintain accountability for deadlines.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or a related finance function.
Demonstrated experience leading or owning budgeting and forecasting processes.
Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and large datasets.
Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, accruals, management reporting, and budget controls.
Experience using ERP systems, financial planning platforms, and business intelligence tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work onsite in Richardson, TX.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA, CPA, CMA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional certification.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and data visualization tools.
Experience with VBA or Office Scripts.
Background in manufacturing, a regulated industry, or a complex, project-based organization.
Demonstrated success improving forecast accuracy, expense visibility, or reporting efficiency.
