This role will focus heavily on project accounting, Construction‑in‑Progress (CIP) accounting, financial reporting support, and month‑end accounting activities while partnering closely with accounting leadership and operational teams.Location: Jacksonville, FL 32256 | 100% OnsiteWhat you will be doing:Prepare and post journal entriesPerform account reconciliationsSupport general ledger activitiesAssist with month‑end close processesMaintain accounting schedules and supporting documentationSupport financial reporting requirementsAnalyze accounting transactions and balancesEnsure accuracy and completeness of accounting recordsSupport Construction‑in‑Progress (CIP) accounting activitiesTrack construction and project‑related costsAssist with project accounting functionsSupport capital project reporting and analysisMonitor project expenditures and account classificationsMaintain documentation supporting capital investmentsPartner with operations and project teams on financial trackingAssist with process improvements and reporting enhancementsExperience required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferredStrong accounting fundamentals and technical accounting knowledgeConstruction accounting experience highly preferredExperience supporting month‑end close activitiesERP experienceAbility to thrive in a fast‑paced and evolving environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBonus skills:Great Plains and/or Microsoft Business Central experience preferredCIP accounting experience preferredProject accounting experience preferredEqual Opportunity StatementJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
