Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct hire
Salary: Base $100K-$102K
Work-Life Balance: Hybrid schedule 2 to 3 days working from home each week.

A growing financial services firm integrating Tax, Accounting, and Wealth Management to provide clients with comprehensive financial guidance. As a CPA Firm, Broker-Dealer, and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), the firm offers a full range of services, including Tax Planning and Preparation, Asset Management, Retirement Planning, Accounting, and Payroll. Through close collaboration between Tax and Wealth Advisors, the firm delivers personalized strategies that support both immediate and long-term financial goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax planning opportunities.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients, including advising on tax implications of business transactions and restructuring.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare tax projections to assist clients in making informed financial decisions.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Master's in Taxation or Accounting is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and/or Enrolled Agent designation.
  • 4+ years of relevant tax and accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to complete complex tax returns independently, without reliance on supervisory review.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax codes and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and financial analysis tools (experience with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax & Accounting CS is a plus).
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
