Job Summary
The Senior Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customer accounts, managing existing client relationships, and promoting particle sizing, zeta potential, surface, and porosity solutions. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, delivering technical presentations, developing proposals, negotiating agreements, and closing sales while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generate and develop new customer accounts.
Manage and expand existing customer relationships.
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Forecast sales opportunities and revenue accurately.
Present technical solutions to executives, managers, and technical personnel.
Develop and deliver sales proposals.
Negotiate and close business opportunities.
Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations.
Advance opportunities through the complete sales process.
Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support.
Travel for customer meetings, demonstrations, installations, and business development activities.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales preferred.
Experience in analytical instrument sales is beneficial.
Strong sales qualification, opportunity management, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage and forecast a sales pipeline.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
