Position: Sous Chef
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: $65,000-$75,000/year

Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants is looking for a Sous Chef with 3+ years of Sous Chef experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.

Job Summary

Supports BOH leadership by running daily kitchen operations and shifts. Oversees execution, food quality, team performance, and assists with inventory, ordering, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BOH shifts, including kitchen and dish operations
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards
• Manage prep, inventory, ordering, and food cost support
• Conduct line checks, pre-shift meetings, and shift transitions
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards
• Train, coach, and develop BOH team members
• Partner with FOH to ensure smooth service
• Support hiring, scheduling, and performance management

Requirements

• Kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety, operations, and cost control
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
