Ready to make an impact with a high-profile financial services client?

CBRE is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead facilities operations for a premier corporate office portfolio totaling approximately 500,000 square feet. Based onsite at the client's modern high-rise headquarters in Sunrise, FL, you'll serve as the primary facilities leader while also overseeing a small remote office presence in Atlanta and Charlotte.

This highly visible role combines strategic leadership, client relationship management, and operational excellence across a portfolio consisting entirely of office space. You'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining compliance and operational standards, managing vendors and budgets, and creating a best-in-class workplace experience for our client's employees and visitors.

As the trusted facilities partner for a prominent client in the financial and professional services (FPS) sector, you'll work closely with key stakeholders to drive performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations across all locations. Quarterly travel to the Atlanta and Charlotte offices may be required.

This is more than a facilities management position. It's an opportunity to influence workplace strategy, strengthen client partnerships, and lead a high-performing office portfolio for one of CBRE's valued clients.

    What You'll Do:

    • Serve as the primary facilities leader for a 500,000-square-foot office portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational performance across all locations.
    • Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication, regular stakeholder meetings, and responsive resolution of facility-related concerns.
    • Lead and coordinate facility repairs, maintenance, and building operations by partnering with technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure high-quality, timely service.
    • Provide leadership and formal supervision to facilities staff, including performance management, coaching, training, and career development.
    • Manage daily team operations by assigning priorities, coordinating schedules, cross-training staff, and ensuring key deliverables are achieved.
    • Plan, prepare, and oversee operating budgets, variance reporting, and capital projects, ensuring sound financial management and strategic execution.
    • Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and operational excellence.
    • Develop and enforce environmental health and safety programs and procedures that support a safe and productive workplace.
    • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, oversee invoicing processes, and review and approve purchase orders for parts, services, and labor.
    • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, repairs, and upgrades, implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and workplace experience.
    • Apply broad business and technical expertise to align facilities operations with client objectives and broader organizational initiatives.
    • Travel to remote office locations in Atlanta and Charlotte on a quarterly basis, and as needed, to maintain strong client relationships, oversee operations, and ensure consistent service delivery across the portfolio.
    • Resolve complex operational and technical challenges with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
    • Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting CBRE's RISE values while driving continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability across the team.

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of facilities management experience; a combination of education and applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Experience managing a multi-site commercial office portfolio is strongly preferred.
    • Experience supporting a high-profile corporate client, preferably within the Financial & Professional Services (FPS) sector, is preferred.
    • Facility Management certification (IFMA, BOMA, FMP, CFM, or similar) is a plus.
    • Demonstrated experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, accruals, deferrals, forecasting, and variance reporting.
    • Proven success leading teams, including staffing, coaching, performance management, employee development, and retention.
    • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to effectively present information, manage expectations, and navigate sensitive or complex situations.
    • Proven leadership ability with a track record of motivating teams, driving accountability, and delivering results across multiple locations.
    • Experience managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and third-party service providers.
    • Strong working knowledge of building operations, maintenance programs, compliance requirements, and workplace services within a commercial office environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
    • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
    • Comfortable analyzing financial and operational data to support decision-making and portfolio performance.
    • Ability to travel quarterly, and as needed, to support remote office locations in Atlanta and Charlotte.
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
