Summary:

The Senior Internal Auditor role will be responsible for executing SOX testing within the America's region (including Costa Rica and LATAM).

Job Responsibilities:

Execute business process SOX key control testing for the Irvine, Utah, and Costa Rica.
Ensures Edwards' compliance with financial regulations, company policies, internal controls, and best practices.
Demonstrate accountability for meeting established SOX testing deadlines.
Ensure high level of accuracy and quality of work performed.

Skills:

Substantial understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Substantial knowledge of financial concepts and principles and internal controls
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting established timeline and due dates.
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
8 years financial and/or accounting experience required.
