With cutting‑edge technology, comfortable venues, and a passion for fun.Job DescriptionThe Staff Accountant will support the accounting affairs of Es Vedra Cinemas. You will examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, provide advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Install or advise on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data.Job ResponsibilitiesPreparesasset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account informationReconciles and maintains assigned balance sheet and income statement accountsAnalyzes income statement for several operating locationsSubstantiatesfinancial transactions by auditing documentsMaintain and clear general ledger reconciling items from operating bank accountson a monthly basisPerforms as a secondary review and approval for invoices and credit memosCompiling data in worksheets for month end close purposesReconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account informationSupports organization in compliance on as needed basis–filing sales tax, applying for permits/licenses, setting up utilities, etc.Maintains financial security by following internal controlsPerforms other related duties as necessary or assignedRequired SkillsStrong accounting foundation and thorough understanding of GAAPAbility to multitask and work in a dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficient in accounting software.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Able to work independently and with a team successfully.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Financeis required.2-3 years of related experience is preferred.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able tolift upto15pounds at times.Competitive Pay and Growth401(k) Retirement Plan with company match ( 100% of contributions up to 4% of team member compensation)Complimentary access to on‑site fitness centerGenerous PTO PolicyMedical, Dental, and VisionTeam Member Perks - discounts on Movies, Attractions, and F&B!Es Vedra Cinemas is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
