    Staff Accountant - Fort Worth Alliance, TX

    Position Summary

    The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role works closely with internal departments, plant operations, and the companys headquarters to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting. Will support audits, tax filings, and process improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including cost allocations, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost trends for management decision-making.
    • Perform month-end close activities such as journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations in accordance with the business unit close schedule.
    • Reconcile account balances and bank statements by supporting documents at the month end.
    • Review accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers to ensure timely and accurate posting.
    • Researching/transferring and/or adjusting accounting procedures between generally accepted.

    • Coordinate with manager to file tax related documents to the IRS.
    • Process and review daily journal entries promptly to meet time constraints.
    • Prepare schedules and documentation for annual external audits and internal reviews.
    • Recommend and support process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy.
    • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records; perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
    • Perform every task accurately, assist with other projects in the accounting department as needed and support inventory accounting including cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in accounting is required
    • 2-5 years of RECENT accounting experience in a manufacturing or multinational environment
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
    • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems required
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Mandarin preferred
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
