We're currently partnered with a top public accounting firm in the St. Louis area that is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their public accounting career who wants to gain hands-on experience across both tax and audit, while working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting with audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and fiduciaries
- Preparing client financial statements
- Supporting senior staff with engagement planning and execution
- Communicating with clients and internal teams in a professional manner
- Assisting with special projects and firm initiatives
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (150 credit hours preferred)
- CPA or on track toward CPA certification
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic audit/tax concepts
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Compensation:
$60,000 – $75,000 base + bonus potential
