Healthcare Staffing Consultant

Pulse Staffing is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Healthcare Staffing Consultant to manage a full desk within our established 38-year healthcare staffing organization. This role is responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining client relationships, recruiting healthcare professionals, and overseeing staffing operations to ensure successful placements and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities, case managers, discharge planners, and referral sources
  • Identify new business opportunities through marketing, networking, cold calling, and relationship-building efforts
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and service reviews

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Source, recruit, screen, interview, and onboard healthcare professionals
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Match candidates to client needs based on skillset, availability, and compliance requirements

Staffing & Operations

  • Manage employee schedules and staffing assignments to ensure proper coverage
  • Coordinate call-offs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing requests
  • Monitor credentialing and compliance requirements to ensure staff remain fully compliant

Performance Expectations

  • Meet established sales and recruiting goals
  • Maintain high fill rates and client satisfaction scores
  • Ensure timely communication with clients and employees

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in healthcare staffing, recruiting, account management, or healthcare operations preferred
  • Strong sales and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with scheduling, recruiting platforms, or staffing software preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • High sense of urgency and accountability

Preferred Experience

  • Home health, hospice, private duty, therapy, nursing, or allied health staffing experience
  • Full desk staffing experience
  • Business development or outside sales experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and compliance processes
