    Description

    The NTC Events Intern supports the Director of NTC Events in the planning, development, promotion, and execution of NTC Signature and Premiere events held throughout the year. The intern will gain hands-on experience in event management, graphic design, marketing support, and administrative operations while contributing to the success of campus events. Primary duties include:

    Graphic Design/Material Production: Create, edit, and produce event-related marketing and promotional materials in collaboration with the NTC Marketing & Communications team, including:

    • WaveSync graphics
    • Posters and flyers
    • Social media content
    • NTC and LBC digital signage
    • Event program booklets
    • Event Posters

    Event Support: Assist with event setup, on-site operations, and post-event breakdown to ensure successful event execution.

    Equipment & Inventory Maintenance: Maintain organization of the NTC Events equipment closet, monitor inventory levels, and provide support for equipment request fulfillment, distribution, and tracking as needed.

    Administrative Duties

    • Support day-to-day office operations
    • Serve as a student representative, providing feedback and insights on student trends, email marketing initiatives, and content strategy

    Required Skills & Knowledge:

    • Current Tulane University undergraduate student in good standing with the university
    • Self-motivated individual with strong communication skills
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, and related applications) and Microsoft Office
    • Experience with social media platforms
    • Familiarity with Tulane University and NTC branding guidelines
    • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
    • Keen eye for detail
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    Position Details:

    • Part-time position (10 hours per week)*
    • Work schedule determined based on student availability*
    • Reports to the Director of NTC Events
    • This position reports in person
    • Open to all undergraduate students in good standing with the university including students with Federal Work Study
    • Flexibility required due to event schedules
