JOB DESCRIPTION
Administrative Aide 1
Hourly Pay Rate: $15
The Administrative Aide 1 will support the Dean''s Office department in various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome Dean''s Office visitors
Provides a high level of customer support in-person and over the phone
Maintain confidentiality of office information
Assist in set-up, breakdown and maintenance of conference rooms and meeting rooms.
Organize and monitor inventory of office supplies, supply cabinets, and copy room
Assist with Dean''s Office events that occur during normal working hours such as set-up/break down, registration, serving food
Assist with creating, editing of signage and flyers for Dean's Office events. Will lead the posting of flyers in the front and back elevators left in the drobox on the communication teams' door
Complete routine tasks as outlined in the front office graduate assistant checklist and perform other duties as assigned
Proactively seeks out projects that need assistance, preparing research and project information and materials
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Software. Experience is preferred but not required
Maintain a tidy and professional reception space. Assist with the maintenance of the front office space alerting staff when issues arise.
Demonstrate attention to detail and reliable attendance, communicate clearly if a student has conflict in their schedule
