With a focus on multifamily, mixed-use, education, healthcare, and retail developments, the company is involved in some of the region's most prominent construction projects.They are seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations and support project execution. This role offers a clear path toward advancement into a General Superintendent position as the company continues to grow.DescriptionThe Superintendent will be responsible for:Acting as the primary liaison between the field team and owners, architects, and engineers regarding daily construction activities.Developing and managing overall project schedules, including identifying the critical path and ensuring materials and equipment arrive on site on time.Reviewing and addressing subcontractor schedule impacts or productivity concerns.Managing field operations related to scheduling, material delivery, site logistics, quality control, and workforce coordination.Documenting field issues that may impact schedule, cost, or quality and preparing RFIs when clarification is required.Coordinating work across trades to maintain an organized and efficient job site.Resolving site challenges related to labor availability, equipment, procedures, or design clarifications.Ensuring required permits, insurance, and compliance documentation remain current throughout the project.Monitoring general conditions and job site activities to help maintain the project budget.Ensuring work is installed in accordance with contract documents, plans, and specifications.Promoting a collaborative and respectful job site culture while developing team members.ProfileThe Superintendent will have:5+ years of construction experience in a field supervision role.Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, materials, and building methods.Previous multifamily or residential construction experience preferred; podium-style construction is a plus.Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.OSHA 30-hour certification.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds.Valid driver's license and insurance.Job OfferThe Superintendent will be offered:Competitive base salary between $110,000 and $130,000 depending on experienceAnnual bonus potential up to 30% of base salaryHealth, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) retirement plan with a 50% company match3 weeks of PTO and sick days11 paid holidaysFamily insurance premiums fully coveredPaid training and professional developmentLong-term growth opportunitiesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
