Guiding and directing staff in month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities Participating in quarterly and annual iFEM, SEC, governmental or statutory reporting processes Assisting with departmental projects and ad hoc requests Identifying potential opportunities for improvement in the accounting, tax, and finance areas Supervising staff and providing coaching and ongoing feedback
Business degree in Accounting/Finance CPA 3+ years work experience, preferably 2 to 3 years with a public accounting firm (or other professional service firm) Specific experience in the areas of Accounting Policy, Financial Reporting and Process Improvement a plus Strong working knowledge of Excel and/or Access/VBA (or other equivalent database software), Power Point, and Word Experience with PeopleSoft a plus Strong in technical accounting research a plus
