Advertised Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, manages and coordinates projects for the School of Medicine's South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Health Care. Works closely with the Center's Directors to assure the execution of project plans, including establishing timelines and monitoring the achievement of milestones. Manages the development of new programs and initiatives, and also provides administrative support for the Center's Directors. Must demonstrate a commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Duty
Program Support: Manages and coordinates the strategic workforce and training-funded programs for the SC Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare. Assists Center Directors in managing programs and communicating with programs in regard to progress. Serves as a liaison to departments and grantees to administer Center grants and contracts. Assists administrative team in contracting, invoicing, and reports from funded programs. Reports progress to the Center Directors on these programs. Anticipates ongoing program requirements and initiates the preparation of information to meet long-term goals and objectives. Assists with the preparation of proposals and reports, as needed.

Program Development: In conjunction with the Center directors, develops and implements new programs consistent with the Center's mission, including longitudinal educational initiatives and workforce training initiatives. Collaborates with outside agencies, organizations, and rural communities in developing, implementing, and facilitating program objectives.

Student Initiative Support: Manages and coordinates undergraduate and graduate student experiences at the Center and participating universities. Develops new student initiatives and expands current initiatives to new universities.

Coordinates meeting facilitation, distribution of information before and after meetings, follow-up of action items, coordination of schedules, and maintenance of the program calendars.
