    Technical Accounting Manager

    Greater Boston real estate company is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to join their team. Ideal candidates will have technical accounting experience (research, external reporting) from large and/or publicly-traded companies and an ability to deliver results in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead technical accounting research related to lease accounting, revenue, impairments, etc.
    • Assess new accounting standards as they impact the firm's standard processes
    • Analyze purchase accounting activity and take on related special projects
    • Support accounting team to implement and enforce internal controls
    • Partner with external auditors and valuations teams
    • Design and implement new policies to streamline existing processes

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
    • 4+ years of technical accounting and financial reporting experience
    • Experience with large, publicly-traded companies preferred
    • CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred
    • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
