As our creative services expand, we are seeking full-time instructional designers to join the Information Design team-a group of writers, designers, technical communicators, and other creative individuals who are passionate about improving lives. We provide creative guidance and develop compelling content, branding, documents, training, and videos for a wide audience.
Responsibilities
- Empower learners to excel in their roles by producing effective training materials, e-learnings, and videos (writing, filming, editing/compiling)
- Write and publish task-oriented help documentation for Medpace clinical trial software
- Partner with experts to gain a deep understanding of the subject matter
- Collaborate with other teams to simplify and visualize technical information
Skills/Characteristics
- Advocate for learners and provide input during meetings
- Care about the details and notice even small inconsistencies in language, visuals, and format
- Embrace new opportunities and balance projects as priorities change
- Desire to improve our services, processes, and UX/UA/UI by integrating new technology and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in instructional design, professional writing, technical communication, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Proficient knowledge of software designed for technical communication (Knowledge of these programs is a plus: Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Paligo)
- Portfolio that demonstrates your ability to develop effective learning materials for various audiences
