Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Temporary HR Generalist to deliver operational support to the Corporate HR Business Partner team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is 40-hour per week temporary role where your focus would be on employee relations, position management, job actions, data reporting, offboarding, and coordination with HR centers of excellence. Ideal for an Associate-level professional with 2-5 years of experience; requires Excel proficiency, background check, and intake session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support employee relations activities, including scheduling and conducting investigation interviews.
- Process position management updates such as new roles, reclassifications, cost centers, supervisors, and BU assignments.
- Submit and track job actions including requisitions, promotions, job changes, and terminations.
- Partner with the reporting team to prepare and manipulate HR data in Excel.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding tasks (e.g., equipment return, system access, final pay).
- Track PIP deadlines, check-ins, and deliverables.
- Serve as point of contact for coordination with HR centers of excellence (leave, ADA, compensation, employee experience).
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in HR or related field preferred).
- 2-5 years of HR operational experience at Associate level.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for data manipulation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience ensuring accurate, timely offboarding and exit interviews.
- Familiarity with retail/wholesale industry HR processes.
