Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least three years of relevant nursing experience and EPIC charting proficiency.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, 3 days per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
• Minimum three years of relevant nursing experience
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Trauma Level 2 or higher experience preferred
• TNCC certification highly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment
• Perform patient assessments, develop and modify care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Collaborate with providers, patients, and families to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation
• Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing hazards
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
