Travel RN – ECMO Specialist | San Diego, CA | Up to $3,635/Week

Experienced ECMO RNs are needed for a 13-week travel assignment in San Diego, CA.

• Start Date: August 24, 2026 (ASAP start available)
• 3x12-hour variable shifts (must be flexible for days or nights)
• First-time travelers accepted

Requirements

• Active California RN license (pending license accepted with licensing ETA)
• Minimum 1 year of ECMO experience
• Must be able to independently "sit the pump" and manage ECMO equipment (bedside ECMO experience alone is not sufficient)
• BLS and PALS required
• Pediatric ICU experience preferred; candidates with strong adult ECMO experience and training will also be considered

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage ECMO circuits
• Troubleshoot ECMO equipment during critical situations
• Maintain anticoagulation and administer fluids/blood products
• Float between CTICU, PICU, and NICU as needed
• Provide care for neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patients
