Registered Nurse - Pediatric Ambulatory Clinic
Job Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic Pediatric Ambulatory Clinic located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role is crucial in providing comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse pediatric patient population, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and acute illness management.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced clinic environment, supporting the health and well-being of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CLIA waived testing in accordance with clinic protocols.
Administer pediatric vaccines following established guidelines and schedules.
Conduct phlebotomy for blood draws on pediatric patients.
Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance, treatment plans, and preventative care.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a Pediatric Clinic or Ambulatory/Outpatient Pediatric setting.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
