Job Summary:
Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Rochester, MN. This 13-week assignment involves providing specialized postoperative care for pediatric cardiac surgery patients within a highly specialized ICU setting. The RN will support clinical practice by managing complex cardiac cases, overseeing patient transitions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires a commitment to high-quality patient care and attention to detail in critical care management.

Job Details:

• Location: Rochester, MN
• Schedule: Rotating shifts (Day/Night Rotation) with 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every 3rd weekend. Floating to NICU and general pediatric care areas within the pediatric center may be required.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery ICU experience; six months of previous travel experience (one year preferred); graduation from an accredited nursing program; current RN license; BLS certification (maintained in Arizona and Florida) or Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers (midwest).
• Preferred Qualifications: ECG exam during orientation; experience in heart transplant management; ECMO experience; strong cardiac monitoring skills, central/arterial line management, pacemaker management.
• Additional Skills: Arterial line management, pacemaker management, heart transplant experience, ECMO experience.
• Flexibility: Float rotation may be required to other pediatric care areas within the organization.
