    *This position requires TS/SCI* 

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative processes, travel arrangements, and knowledge management protocols.
    • Leverage your expertise to navigate complex travel regulations, ensuring accurate and compliant travel arrangements through the Defense Travel System.
    • Prepare and present written products tailored for senior leaders, showcasing your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Serve as a knowledgeable liaison between USSOCOM, subordinate organizations, and various U.S. military services, fostering effective communication and understanding.
    • Employ your strategic administrative acumen to support the execution of vital tasks and projects within the USSOCOM framework.
    • Maintain the highest level of security and confidentiality in all interactions and transactions.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 5 years' experience as an administrative, action, or staff officer within HQ USSOCOM, a Service headquarters, or a combatant command headquarters (4-Star military HQ) 
    • 5 years' experience using communication skills, both written and oral, to include preparation of written products for senior leaders (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level) use, and the ability to communicate at all levels
    • 5 years' experience working with USSOCOM, subordinate organizations, DOD, and knowledge of each U.S. military service's roles and missions.
    • 3 years' experience utilizing the Defense Travel System and 2 years as an Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA).
    • Bachelor's degree in any field or 10 years prior military experience working Human Resources, Administrative, Knowledge Management
