With a commitment to continuous improvement, the company has an enviable track record of success as well as an environment of committed, long term employees.Home Pride Inc. has an opening for an Operator in Bristol, VA.This position works 4, ten-hour, day shifts weekly (Mon – Thurs)Job Responsibilities:Wears all required personal protective equipment (PPE) to include safety glasses, hearing protection and respirators.Reviews daily production orders and follows supervisor instructions to fulfill production needs.Ability to read weld callouts and follow welding procedure specifications when welding.Performs or assists with pre-weld parts fitment, and post-weld cleanup, inspection and repair.Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to be used on daily shift.Keeps pace with other stations on the production line to ensure there are no bottle necks.Ensures quality control checks are completed on all finished goods to maintain a high level of quality.Conducts daily cleaning and organization of workstation to ensure safe and efficient workflow.Our Employees Enjoy:A Competitive Pay RateGood Working ConditionsSafety RewardsComplete Benefits Package: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401(k) PlanPaid Holidays, Vacation and Paid Sick Days401(k) Bonus Potential upon annual eligibilityProductivity Bonus potential after one year of employmentRequirementsWelder experience Minimum basic skill using air power hand tools and electric powered saws and drill, experience preferred but not required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read and comprehend measurementsAbility to regularly lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift more than 50 poundsAbility to communicate with co-workers in a professional manner. EOE M/F/V/D
