Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Provides comprehensive primary care services to pediatric patients, including well-child visits and specialty care, routine check-ups, developmental screenings, and management of acute and chronic conditions; Administers and updates vaccinations according to established guidelines; Conducts thorough physical exams, obtains medical histories, and orders/interprets diagnostic tests; Provides education and counseling to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices; Provides specialty care in the areas of pediatric diabetes, pediatric endocrinology and/or obesity medicine; Collaborates with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care; Works directly with pediatric diabetes and endocrinology specialty along with primary care pediatricians; Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system; Participates in quality improvement initiatives and contributes to a positive patient experience; and, Performs related duties as required.
