As an Associate General Counsel, Labor Relations, you will, under the general supervision of the Vice President of Labor Relations, work closely with Human Resources, Operations, and Senior Management to handle both complex and day-to-day labor relations issues; independently negotiate labor contracts as first chair; represent the Company in labor arbitration; defend against unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB; train supervisors and managers on a variety of legal topics; and, when necessary, supervise union election campaigns. Founded in 1918 as a supplier to independent grocery stores, C&S now services customers of all sizes, supplying more than 7,500 independent supermarkets, chain stores, military bases and institutions with over 100,000 different products.
