Assists with cardiovascular invasive procedures such as; R & L heart catheterizations, PTCA, intra-aortic-balloon pump, permanent/temporary pacemakers, AICD, electrophysiology studies, pericardiocentesis, peripheral arteriograms and angioplasty, etc. Current knowledge and techniques in Cath Lab, knowledge of cardiology meds, EKG monitoring, starting IV's, must be able to act quickly and remain calm in stressful and emergency situations.
