Major Responsibilities:- Assist other application engineers and perform failure analysis on bearing products as assigned- Participate in on site customer visits with other application engineers to give support for specific applications / product installation and maintenance / troubleshooting- Attend training schools for our bearing products and applications to distributors- Assist in the competitor benchmarking test plan creation and development of new/modified/improved technologies aimed at our bearing products- Assist in the design of test machines and procedures of benchmark testing- Supports product analysis during and after NPD or benchmark testing- Support in updating engineering technical information related to catalogs, brochures and website data- Assist in solving routine problems with an aptitude for basic problem-solving skills- Supports product engineering projects- Complete other projects as identified in co-op project planRequired Education / Experience / Skills:- Ability to adjust to varying priorities and project lists- CAD skills preferred (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid Edge)- Proficient in Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)- Technically inclined with a preferred hands-on ability- Verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees, management and customers- Self-motivated, capable of working with sense of urgency- Strong Analytical Skills, Decision Making, Critical ThinkingAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
