Coordinates patient intake from all points of entry (Emergency Department, In-Patient Unit, physician office, clinic, etc.), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Collaborates with appropriate hospital staff and departments to assure quality, timely, cost efficient transfer and placement into the most appropriate level of care.
