Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice and principles, methods and techniques involved in providing nursing care, familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations and knowledge of principles of leadership and management. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Director, plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates overall clinical and administrative activities of an assigned nursing unit.
